It’s Friday! So today we’re talking about team building. 

If you’re a solo operator and you like it that way, more power to you.

But if you’re training a team of instructors because you don’t want to be the only person holding up your business like Atlas… this one's for you.

Here's the truth, you’re only as good as your team.

And yes, your job is to make them better martial artists and better teachers. But if you want to change their lives forever, there’s one skill that beats all the rest:

Financial literacy.

I know what you’re thinking…
“That’s not my lane.”

But if you’re in the business of changing lives (and you are), then teaching your team how to handle their money might be the most important thing you ever do.

You don’t have to be a CPA or a financial planner.
You just have to get them reading.

I was lucky, my brother taught me this stuff early. When I was a teenager doing private lessons for $10, iInstead of blowing my paychecks on video games, I was putting money into a retirement account. Later when I opened my school, instead of buying a flashy car, I bought rentals with the profits from my school.

We all know people who are bad with money.

Some are drowning in debt.
Some live paycheck to paycheck.
Some have no idea what compounding interest is. 

But we also know this:
A few simple habits can change everything.

So if you lead a team, whether they’re teens or full-grown adults, give them the tools to win long-term.

You’re already changing their life on the mat.

Why not help them win off the mat, too?
