How To Recruit New Adult Students In 1 Hour
Yeah, I know I usually talk about recruiting kids for your martial arts school without relying on ads.
But today weโre flipping the scriptโฆ
Letโs talk about how to enroll Dads (organic marketing).
June is Fatherโs Day season, and this is the perfect time to launch a simple event we call Dads Hit Pads.
Itโs not complicated.
Hereโs how it works:
Invite all your current students to bring their Dad (or Granddad) to a special class. You can run it as a one-off weekend event, or sneak it into a normal weekday class.
Keep it fun and simple:
-
Teamwork drills
-
Obstacle races
-
Friendly family competitions
Hint: Dads LOVE anything that feels like play + challenge.
The Offer That Works:
At the end of the event, make this offer:
โ
Dads can train for the whole month of June for FREE
โ
Includes a free uniform
โ
Bonus: If Dad trains 2x a week, their kid earns a special patch
(The ONLY way the kid can earn the patch is if their Dad trains!)
You want to talk about positive peer pressure?
The kids will beg Dad to go.
They will lay a guilt trip on their dad stronger than my Jewish mom. Trust me, I know guilt trips.
The class itself isnโt enough though..
After class, feed them.
Pizza, subs, whatever.
The goal: get the dads talking and connecting with each other. Maybe even convincing each other to try an adult class together.
This takes them from โspectator on the benchโ to โpart of the tribe.โ
And thatโs what builds long-term retention and a strong community.
Dads Hit Pads is usually around lunch time on a weekend, and lasts about an hour long. Easy, effective, and you can set it up now. Just make sure you get RSVPโs in advance so you know who is coming.
Want Bonus Tips?
I created a 1-page guide that includes Bonus Tips for running a Dads Hit Pads event like a pro.
If you want it, comment โI needed thisโ and Iโll DM you.
(Btw- if I sent you stuff before, and you never even responded with a โthank youโ then I wonโt send you anything, take that rude people)
