The HLA Method That Turns Leads Into Students

Letโs break it down:
โ HOOK: Get Them to Stop Walking
You donโt need a clunky prize wheel that every HVAC company and dog groomer is using. We use a sleek iPad with a digital prize wheel.
Kids canโt resist swiping it. Once they stop, boom, youโre in.
Weโll have them win something simple like 1 free lesson, 1 free week.. some time frame of a trial.
Then we say โdid you get a chance to break the wooden board yet?โ (of course they didnโt!)
โ LEAD: Get the Info, Fast
โAwesome {turn to parent} Johnny just won 1 free week to try out our classes. Heโll also get to break a wooden board, and you can record a video on your phone too, it looks super cool! Whatโs his name, his age, and your cell?โ
Say it like a foregone conclusion. Be assumptive.
We write it down ourselves (no QR codes), because people are way less likely to give you a fake number when youโre looking them in the eye.
Then the kid breaks the board, parent films it, and now you live in their camera roll forever.
โ APPOINTMENT: Set It. Donโt Wait.
While theyโre still buzzing from the board break, we say:
โGreat! Because Johnny spun the wheel, he won a free week of classes! We have 2 special times for kids from todayโs event, Monday at 5 or Thursday at 7, which one works better?โ
They pick. You write it down.
The follow-up text isnโt to book the appointment, itโs just to confirm the time they already picked.
No more chasing ghosts.
